1. Eligibility Criteria & Age Requirements

Primary School (Grades 1–5 / Key Stages 1–2):
Minimum age 5 years by:

31st March (Indian Curriculum)
1st September (UK Curriculum)

Middle School (Grades 6–8 / Key Stage 3):
Admission is based on age-appropriate grade placement and previous academic records.

Secondary & Senior Secondary (Grades 9–12 / IGCSE & A Levels):
Admission is granted based on:

Prior curriculum
Academic performance
Subject-specific prerequisites

2. Academic Background

Students must submit previous academic records/transcripts.
Transition between Indian and UK Curriculum is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
The school may conduct diagnostic assessments for:
o Mid-year admissions
o Curriculum transitions

3. Language Proficiency

English is the primary medium of instruction.
Applicants may be required to:
o Provide proof of English proficiency, or
o Appear for a language assessment, especially for middle and senior grades

4. Admission Process

Application Submission

Applications are accepted throughout the year, subject to seat availability.

Confirmation & Enrollment

Upon acceptance, families will receive:

o Payment of the registration fee
o Submission of all required documents
Students will then:
o Get access to the online learning portal
o Be assigned a class mentor

 

5. Curriculum Choice Policy

Students can choose between Indian Curriculum and UK Curriculum at the time of admission.
Switching between curricula is allowed only:
o At natural transition stages (e.g., end of Primary or before Grade 8)
o After academic review and approval by the Academic Head

6. Special Considerations

International Students

Admissions are open to students worldwide

7. Fee Payment Policy

Fees must be paid quarterly, on or before the 10 th of the first month of the quarter
Flexible payment plans may be available upon request
Non-payment may result in:
o Suspension of classes
o Cancellation of enrollment

8. Withdrawal & Refund Policy

Withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing
No refund will be provided after admission, under any circumstances

9. Right to Deny or Revoke Admission

Sparkmind International School reserves the right to:

Deny admission in cases of:
o Incomplete documentation
o Academic mismatch
o Inappropriate conduct
Revoke admission if:
o False information is provided
o School policies are violated by students or parents
